As a professional WFF sports model I had only ever done studio photoshoots where the focus was on how lean and muscular I was. I wanted to capture my body in a completely different manner showcasing a softer curvy feminine beach body.
Darren was recommended to me by another photographer and by a close friend who has worked with him before. I’m glad I took their suggestion.
From the first message Darren was professional, personable and a delight to brainstorm ideas with.
We set a date, chose the beach and the first early morning sun to create stunning “Sports Illustrated style” beach images.
On site, Darren was great at giving me posing cues, reminding me not to flex, and had me laughing. I felt extremely comfortable working with him and look forward to future collaborations.
Darren has an eye for showcasing the woman’s figure. He provided me with so many stunning poofs to choose from that narrowing down my favourites was the only challenge I had.

I first met Darren in 2019 when his shoot got cancelled last minute. I was asked by another photographer if I wanted to cover.
We did our very first shoot at Balmoral beach and it was magical 😊💕.
He made me feel so comfortable and safe and we just clicked, and had a great time shooting for several hours!
When we get together it's like we both forget the time, because we are having so much fun and have so many ideas. We have collaborated many times, as Darren is simply the best!

I have always been a more masculine and athletic woman. After retiring from sports I found myself wanting to explore and embrace a more feminine side of myself. That's when I came across Darren on social media. From the moment I first spoke to Darren I knew I had chosen the right Photographer.

I have never met someone with better creative vision and who is just such a good and genuine person. He makes you feel so calm, directed and takes any nerves or anxiety away that you might have. I recently had my first 'solo' photoshoot and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast!
From the start it felt like hanging out with a friend rather than being in a formal setting.What stood out was how comfortable and safe I felt throughout the shoot. Despite the intimate nature of the photos, Darren made sure I was always respected and in control. It allowed me to relax and really enjoy the experience.
As we went along, I got more and more into it, feeling confident and empowered. Darren's guidance was spot-on, and I could see his artistic vision coming to life with each snap.When I got to see the pictures, I was blown away! He managed to capture me in a way that felt authentic and beautiful.
